The deal resolves a major question for the Bengals going forward, as Green had announced his intentions to play this season under his player option year of $10.1 million. The team may have had to place the franchise tag on him next year for retention.
Green has 4,874 yards receiving and 35 touchdowns in four seasons with Cincinnati.
